Andrew-London Trio

The Andrew London Trio

Songwriter/satirist Andrew London, well-known for his popular 'Hot Club Sandwich' trio and 'Tales of Tennessee' stage show, explores obsessions and taboos in songs about rugby fans, technophobia, youth culture, household appliances, pretentious socialites, coffee, parenthood, and various other issues of concern to the average middle-class, middle-aged, Middle-Earthdwelling Kiwi.

Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing

In the best traditions of two man blues and roots, Swamp Thing is a duo that you know are playing to stay alive.
A former member of the renowned John Butler Trio, Michael Barker (drums/ percussion/ KeyBass/Vocals) formed the power blues/roots duo Swamp Thing with Grant Haua vocals/guitar in 2010. These two unique musicians share a wealth of experience. Blues flavoured music with a deep groove and soulful spook. Swamp Thing is very much their own monster.

Mike Field

Mike Field

Since the release of his first album Ashes in 2011, Toronto-based jazz trumpeter Mike Field has been on the move gigging from one big city to the next – travelling as far afield as Germany, France and even on board a ship to Antarctica. Trudi Wilson released her first self penned album Signs in August this year and is a well loved and familiar face around Nelson. Armed with her group of merry men she has cleverly recrafted some old jazz standards to give them a modern twist, and has tastefully 'aged' some modern artists to give them her own unique sound of yesteryear. With smoky, smooth vocals, great guitar licks, and a massive bass and drum back bone - this is an act you won't want to miss!

masterfully with Harry Harrison on dobro, banjo and guitar. Radius are rich and diverse, redefining the instrumental song genre. Formed in 2012, Radius released their first album Seven Tales at the Christchurch International Jazz & Blues Festival.
