Once again the Nelson Jazz Club is proud to welcome you to another great festival of jazz and blues. After small beginnings 21 years ago the festival has grown to be one of New Zealand’s iconic music events.
Along with our visiting jazz stars we are featuring the best of local bands in this year’s programme. Check out the be-bop jazz of Out On Bail, the Southern country/jazz fusion of Aly Cook and The Coal Rangers or the authentic blues of The Boogie Train. A special welcome to visiting musicians from afar. If you want the edge of jazz have a listen to Reuben Bradley’s band from Wellington or Sumo Jazz from Christchurch. For a trip down memory lane catch Red Hot and Dixie or the fantastic Roseneath Centennial Ragtime Band.
The programme is full of surprises. There’s nothing like live music. Have a great time at the festival!
